When to Hydroseed:

Anytime is a good time to Hydroseed provided water is at hand. Otherwise, let Mother Nature take its course. Ground conditions must be dry for the application. The area should be prepared as you would expect for seeding or sod. Large areas may need to be harrowed. Though not always possible, the best conditions for soil is to be a depth of 3-4 inches and free of debris and weeds. If some weeds come up with the grass, a weed control product may be used after the lawn is fully established. Mowing will help keep some weeds from dropping seeds thus emerging again.
